Cora and I were playing with the Play-Doh when I looked down and noticed how great Hazel is getting at getting the bouncy seat moving. She's developing quite the technique--something of a frog swim double-leg kick. I remember my baby brother used to get his bouncer flying (decades ago) by sharply flapping one arm up and down in front of him; you never know what technique your baby is going to develop.
It's also funny because Cora loved the baby swing but was always lukewarm on the bouncer. Hazel is the opposite. It's considerate of the two of them to arrange it so that neither purchase was a waste of money for us. Each got its use in turn.
Also, it's hard to tell here because Cora is off camera, but in the very beginning Hazel is thinking about starting to fuss, and then Cora turns her attention on Hazel an engages her for a little bit, an Hazel just lights up! Having two kids is hard, but the relationship between them is so gratifying.

"Ben" is such a good big sister. It is fun to see them bond and support one another.
Of course Cora is so sweet that Hazel was bound to love her.
Those differences are indicative of their individuality. So similar and still so different.
