Cora's first day of school was also her first day of ballet class. She's been asking for the past two years to take ballet, and I finally acquiesced. She was very excited.
Here she is just before we left for class.
Good luck, teacher. At least you're not teaching ol' shoe-hands, there (yet).
Back when we'd first gotten the tights and leotard, Cora had tried them on for fit, and of course Hazel had insisted, "Me too!" so she tried on the spare set, though she's still too young to take classes. Here the two of them are, "posing."
And parents aren't allowed to view the class, but here's a quick shot before the door closed.

I'm not sure what she was expecting, but Cora didn't give the first class great reviews. She has agreed to give it more chances, though, so we'll see how it goes.

Cora was probably expecting much more from the class than it could ever have delivered. She is a beautiful dancer.
And what can one say about "ol' shoe hand"? Except to say that she too is beautiful.
They are quite the pair. I love them and miss them terribly. Please give them hugs for me and tell then that Grandpa is so proud of them and loves them "very, very much".
