The End of Summer
A couple weeks ago watermelon came up in conversation somehow and I mentioned to Geoff that I had been wanting watermelon, and I'd better pick one up soon, or otherwise it would be too late in the year. The very next day he came home from work with a watermelon.
I wonder how it is that seeing them in the store made him think of me . . .

Your picture makes me miss Jen's pregnant belly (although I'll keep the baby).
While I'm being nostalgic, I'll share with you that it took me a good week or two to stop reflexively reaching out to touch the belly.
