They had events all week, but the part we went to was like a street fair.
Cora got to check out the inside of a fire truck.
And the Masonic Temple is right on Main Street, so they had set up their concession right at their front gate. We supported them by getting Cora her first snow-cone there.
She did a good job handling it.
Also, she finally likes to sometimes wear a barrette. Yay!Hopkins has a nice-looking little Main Street.
We're really liking the size of the Twin Cities metro so far--there are places to go and people to see, but it doesn't feel overcrowded. Even midday on a Saturday with a festival going on, we easily found parking and were able to push the stroller around with a little elbow room to spare.

Looks like a very nice day. Nice size towns and progressive. Albert Lea, the town with two names, Is in US News for their study on illness prevention. They built miles of walks and healthy eating experiences in their grocers and eateries.
Glad you are jumping right in and getting around to the many things to experience. This year will go quickly; so, don't delay. You only get one July in the Twin Cities area, etc.
