Cora's class took a field trip to the zoo in October. All the parents came with.

You can see how the girls are pretty similar in height except for Cora. The striped jacket and the purple pants are Cora's two BFFs. She can hardly wait for school to start again so they can be reunited. Mr. Red Shirt is our across-the-street neighbor and they're also a great family.
The teacher with the gloves on is Ms. Ixis, who will be Cora's teacher for the coming school year.
You can see Hazel giving me that evil eye in this one. This was just as she was turning the corner from unmanageable toddler to pleasant human being. I thought she was going to be difficult on this trip but she did great.
