Remember when I said that our favorite walking route went by the "fish pond"? This week I was able to film the fabled fish--with ducks to give you some perspective on their size, no less.
The title must refer to YOUR nightmare, since Cora is too young to have such imaginings. That is quite the school of BIG fish. Do you shop there often? It would be fresh.
Those fish do freak me out a little bit. The title is yet another line from The Simpsons, though. When Bart is little he has a bed in the shape of a giant clown--it's supposed to be fun, but instead it just keeps him awake at night in fear. "Can't sleep, clown will eat me."
And let that be a lesson to all of you new parents. I remember, over ten years ago, there was a movie coming out that parents were appalled was for children. It was very controversial. But study showed that children thought it was funny. It seems that what is frightening to adult reasoning is not so to children. They were frightened by things they relate to. Like something (possibly mundane) happening to a parent or to them is scary. Aliens invading a zoo and gore and mayhem they don't relate to because they lack the experience to associate it to their reality.
