More like rice cereal soup! Followed by a bath. She did get the concept, though, and was opening up for the spoon after the first couple of tries. We're introducing solids more or less by this schedule, which jibes with what the pediatrician recommended. Let the bittersweet steps toward independence begin!Note: we are getting a highchair and did not leave her alone in the bumbo seat. Bumbos are not meant to be used on tabletops.

She is growing up. She looks a bit concerned too.
It's just new to her, she doesn't hate you for making her get a job.
No! Wait! That is later; she is just eating food now.
Maybe you will want to feed her out back where you can hose her off before bringing her back in. Reminder her how lucky she is that it is SPRING. That hose water can be really cold in the Winter.
And she slept for 8.5 hours last night.
