Evanston Girl

Cora and I went for a walk along the lake front today. Pictures don't do it justice.

Evanston, I will miss you sorely when we're gone:
We call this one "the duck pond." As in, "How far should we walk?" "To the duck pond and back."

This one is on the Northwestern campus and we call it "the fish pond" because it contains giant menacing koi of some kind, which you can see by standing on the bridge (but which I couldn't photograph). Ignore the ducks--it's the fish pond nonetheless:

You can see Lake Michigan in the background and the fish pond in the foreground here, and people on the walking path in between them:
The Chicago skyline from the Northwestern U. campus:
The mama view. All is well:

Cora leaking glee. She enjoys existing:

What a great post!

Cora enhances every view of Evanston, Chicago and my world.

Her mommy has a talent for the 'turn of a phrase'. She really does leak glee.

All these grandchildren and children living in the area make the world a positive place.

Love you all,

Dad

Where are you going? Are you leaving Evanston?

We're leaving Evanston in two years, when Geoff's residency is over. Don't know where we'll live next, but it's highly likely it'll be a step down from our situation here.
