Stone Arch Bridge

At the beginning of October we went out to see Minneapolis's landmark Stone Arch Bridge and the St. Anthony Falls Historic District. It was a lovely walk with a lot of placards along the way explaining the history of the area, including its role as an early milling district.

Cora and the Mississippi.

We followed a trail down by the water for a bit.

And back to where we started.

A nice experience. It is good to learn about your surroundings.

And you know, they have segway (glide) tours in Minneapolis and St. Paul. In the Spring we will have to sit for you and Geoff to go.

Interesting history in the twin cities. And looks like Cora is having some great experiences. Need to make 'scrapbooks' for the girls to document their early days.
